customer is putting in complete SIP call centre with 50 SIP trunks to begin with ringing to 50 agents and growing. Each agent will be using either Soft IP phone or analogue with Headset.

The VM pro recording only goes to 30 ports so we need something that can record at least 50 calls and more..

I have seen numerous call recorders but they are trunk based (pra) rather than SIP. I could probably put a SIP server in between the IP Office and the SIP carrier with Call Recording ability but wouldn't get Extension side recording or better.

Has any 1 got an alternative that has been tested???

I have used call recorders that attach in series with DS ports before. They used Dialogic cards to connect the ports, and worked with many types of systems it just depended on the software that was used on the Dialogic card.

I'm sure an analogue version would be available from the same company but how large are they likely to grow? VCM's could be a worry.

Might not be the best application for an IP Office.
