We had to rerecord our main company message via voice item maintainance, when I review the message it is saved, but when I call the number asociated with voice item I still hear the old message. Do I need to sync something for the change to take place? Help.

no open the application, right click the main mene in that application, you'll see a drop down box for your menu choice greeting, make sure you recorded an greeting that is in that list. you can move voice items with the import tool or just re-record the present voice item id and save the app

We rerecorded the message with a phone set(dialing the voice item maintainance number and entering the prompt id) and saved it that way, but the old message still plays, are you saying I should try to record the message via app bldr; how it will call the phone you plan to record from?

I administer the mailboxes through Call Pilot Manager, we have a M1 option 11c switch, does this help any?

no when i record a message, i need the application id and the voice item, if you open app manager and look at the properties you will see both numbers. after you use prompt maint if both of those numbers are in the menu service the change is automatic
