Hi guys/gals,

Just installed a call-pilot mini behind an opt. 11, and the issues I'm having are:

1. Is there a way to get a time stamp on the vmail messages? Like with MerMail where it says the time and date that the message was received. Or like on norstars where the phone displays the time and date while playing the messages. I have both 3903s and 3904s on the system.

2. Also, the system keeps giving the same error message whenever the vmail ports are being accessed - looked it up in the system messages, and its saying that its not seeing any digital port hooked up to that tn. Is there a way to correct this?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

the only time i don't get a time stamp is if i have short prompts box checked on the users mailbox. i can still use the option to play envelope while i an in cp

Check your programming on the vmail ports, make sure that MMA is the the CLS on all, and that FLXA is also on units 15-31.

As the CallPilot Mini is based on the CallPilot 150 which is used with Norstar systems the folks in the Norstar forum may be of help.

Have you tried the option to play envelope? Might be called something else in CP Mini. Don't know the CP 150/Mini well enough to know if the time/date stamp can be automaticaly played. It's likely that it can not be displayed on the M3900 displays.

lots of thanks! i'll try your suggestions tomorrow.

...didn't see that it is a callpilot mini --

Also, on the CallPilot 100/150 you can view the Class of Service definitions via the admin browser. There is likely a similier view on the CP Mini. Might be a option there that relates to playing the time/date stamp.

To get the time and date stamp on the Call Pilot Mini you need to enter code <72> rather than the normal code <2> to listen to messages. This will then give you the time and date of the message then the actual message. Your issue 2 I do not fully understand? Hope this helps?

Thanks guys!

Checked the Class of Service...no option to turn on time stamp.

Just told the user to press 72 when reviewing messages...Thanks Hasago
