I'm looking to change the system prompt greeting of "Call Pilot from Nortel Networks". This greeting is heard when accessing your voicemail box. I would like to find the location of this file on the server so I can copy and then manipulate it to just say "Call Pilot". Can someone direct me to the location of where the system prompt files are stored on the server, and what they are stored as. Whether they are a wav file or a mpeg file.

Actually you do this from the manager, I believe it is under the messaging options and it is called "Custom Prompts".

I'm actually looking for the system wav/mpeg file that is played when you access your mailbox. I'd like to use that file without the "from Nortel Networks" part of the greeting. Do you know where that file is stored on the server?

My guess is that the files are not stored as .wav files; they are most likely .vmb files which is the "Nortel proprietary" file type. The compression type, etc., is different on these files than regular .wav files; notice you always "import" a .wav file in? Files only get changed to .wav files in Desktop Messaging when there is a mail server. There are only 7 prompts that they allow you to customize/change that are supported.
