I have 2 x Access channels that are showing up as Remote Off Duty in Channel Monitor.
The TNs on the switch are exactly the same, except for the ACQ AS: value??

The working TN\Channel shows ACQ AS: TN,AST-DN,AST-POSID whereas the failed TN shows ACQ AS: TN

All Voiceports are aquired within Symposium and the TNs are all IDLE Log in when checked on the PBX.
The problem is causing callers to get ringing and no prompts\music from my scripts.
I've checked the ACD and SCR values in Cal Pilot agaist the TN config and everything matches up. The strange thing is the other 6 channels are shown as OK.
Symposium and Call pilot have both been re-booted, should I de-aquire all channel TN's from Symposium, delete them and start again, then power down both Symp and CP and bring them up one at a time?

Agggghhhh!

What version of CP and Symp. CP 3.03.06 has released a "patch" that fix a login/logout problem on the CP voice ports while rebooting either symp or CP. Check if the MSB key is activated when you trace the CP voice port TN in LD80...?

Thanks for that.
We're running Symp v4.2 and Call Pilot 3.03.06, beginning to wonder if we need the patch!!!
I run a Stat of the TNs in LD32 and they are all IDLE Logged in, what's the command in LD80?

Depending on the switch type, for 51 to 81 TRAC LL S CC UU; LL Loop, S Shelf, CC Card, UU Unit.
For OPT 11 TRAK CC UU.

TRAK xx or TRAC xx where xx is the TN posision of the voice ports. It's right that it says logged in, but the MSB key might be activated anyway. CP300S00G21S is the patch you need to install to correct this.

Thanks guys.
The trace shows the same on both a working and no-working TN.
I've rebooted Symposium and Call pilot again and the 1st access channel has now come up. The callers are now getting their prompts but the last remaining channel is still remote off duty!
I'm getting our maintainer to install the patch and reboot but panic over for the time being.
Cheers

You can NUL the MSB key and programm it back in, The way it's working now is that 1 out of 2 calls going to CP won't work, I would presume.

And to defend your maintainer, this patch was created 3rd october and updated 14th october.

The only channel that's failed now is 7, which means I have 1-6 working and we never get more than 2 or 3 in use at any one time.
We're having channel 8 change to be multimedia anyway so I'm inclined to leave it for the time being and wait for that work to be completed.
I did Nul the MSB key and put it back again, which showed aquired logout in symposium but when I did a stat of the card the TN still appeared to be login in??? weird. I then had to disc and enlc the card to get it back again in symposium.
Perhaps another reboot of call pilot may work but I think I'll wait for the patch that you've suggested.
Thanks for your help.

I have the problem I am running 4.5 on the option 11 and 4.0.x.x on the call pilot when I look at the channels says remote off duty ? any help
