Nortel has upgrades readily available for the CP's. There were a number of issues with 1.5. Version 1.05.32.01 had all kinds of problems including unrecoverable crashes, especially larger ones. V 1.05.32.05 had issues with crashing and there was a patch called 'boot loader 5.21' (from 5.19) that seemed to cure unrecoverable crashes. By V 2.10.06.00, most of the really quirky stuff was worked out. You may consider an upgrade.
