How do you find out how to retrieve calls placed in Call Park? I believe you're supposed to dial a call park access number and a two digit call park queue number. I just need to find out how to program, and or access the call park queues.

Thanks

are you trying to use park from a display phone? if so the park key will display a park dn, make sure you have ffc and park dn defined, then from an analog the spree then the ffc code then the park dn, and park dn's are usually 4 digit, although they can be defined as 2

It's from a display phone, and the attendant.

I tried calling the attendant and have them park me, but the park key isn't doing anything. I added a park key to my DN and still didn't do anything. Is there any system setting I have to set to activate call parking? I'm guessing where you would define System DNs for parking, etc. Not sure where to look for that.

Thanks

i'll have to look in my switch monday, if you still need help them bump this post back up the list.

I already had CLS for CPA in LD 15.

In LD 50 I did:

>ld 50
S1FEA000
MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 1327754 USED: 294261 TOT: 1622015
DISK RECS AVAIL: 437
REQ new
TYPE cpk
CUST 0
CPTM
RECA yes
SPDN 10 8000
MURT 10

I can now call my DN, and put the call in park with a Park number of 8000. However if I go to another phone and call 8000 I get a busy signal as if the DN wasn't defined...

to retrieve the parked call from system DN 8000 you have to first dial your SPRE code (usually the digit 1) plus 72, then 8000. You have to dial 172 8000 to retrieve the call. It sounds like your just dialing 8000.

or press the park key and dial 8000, is 8000 a park dn? you can also park against the called ext.. some cust do that exclusively.. the page is jim you have a call parked.. jim know it is against his dn.. (car lots love that)

I thought you could retrieve a parked call by pressing the PARK key also but the NTP states to retrieve the call you have to dial SPRE+72...I think maybe the PARK key only allows you to park and not to retrieve?

i just tested park on my set because i don't use it, and did the retrieve with the park key and the parked dn

Actually you can dial the park DN number that comes up when you park a call.

Eg, on a call
press park, shows the park DN number.
!!! Press park again !!! and the call actually says call parked.

Now you can dial 8000 to pick up the call on that parked dn.

or, I can press CAll park, enter an Extension DN to park the call on, and then dial 172-7550 to pick up the call on my extension.

pressing call park on an idle DN won't allow me to retrieve the parked call that way.
