What the Heck is "Call Manager?

It is a Cisco product for their VoIP product line. It is essentially the main brains for all VoIP endpoints in a Cisco environment.

I am sure someone else can provide a better explanation, but this is the 50 cents definition.

scott nailed it, ccm, cisco call manager, a voip switch. can be used stand alone, we have a couple working behind our 81c, small app, 300 stations, mostly wireless. works great, names msg lamps etc. we are using tdm pri qsig to interface
