Call Manager 5

When you install 5.X would it always install anotrerh copy of itself to the 2nd partition. I`ve been informed that a recent install only had one partition configured so you can not switch-version? - is this true or should it automatically be built/ installed with two verisons, partitions

I beleive the orginal install is done in 1 partition but subsequent installs will be in the second partition. At least that's been my experience.
