Hi,

Another question from me.

How do I generate a report on calls in to a DN? I'm not even sure where to start. I've found some reports in the Nortel CS1000 Telephony Manager Navigator but nothing that seems to do this. I reckon I'm on the right machine as it has old reports saved to the desktop showing the same data I need to generate.

Start by reading the CDR (Call Detail Recording) NTP. That is the basis on which everything works - either just generating the raw data to a printer/file, or sending the raw data to a 3rd-party application.

Telephony Manager has the Billing Option, sounds like what you have. You can run reports on individual extensions.

Where would I find reports for the billing option?

I've been looking down the list of reports I can find & not found one that looks like it'd be correct. Also when I find it, how do I aim it at a particular DN? I can't see a way of doing so.

I've been looking through the reports I've found & they all seem to relate to the Symposium system. The DN I need the report for isn't part of Symposium, it's just a regular DN on the CS1000.

^^ Ignore that, I was on the wrong server!

Been looking at reports on the correct one & still can't find a way to do this.

I'm not sure how to run the report through TM, but you do have to have the billing option.

It's release 3.20.01.94.

It seems we're running a home for retired software...

Thanks.

It turns out that we have a call record system in place run by a third party, I knew nothing about this before.
