I have one phone ext on a definity/audix system, and when this girl is out of the office I would like to program either a "send-calls" or call-fwd" button to ring to a different users ext. I have managed to "sort-of get it working , but it still rings 2 or 3 times at the ext. of the out of the office girl before going to the other ext. Ideally I'd like it to not ring at all on the out of office girl's phone and forward directly to the alternate. Is this possible, and what am I missing? Thanks for any replies. Take care...

I just assigned a call-fwd button to my phone.
I then used it to forward call to another phone,
When I call my phone it does not ring just goes directly to the number I forwared to.

Sounds like the number of the girl that is out of the office is still using the coverage path.

If it is a station then program a call-fwd button into the phone.
As an agent you can add a coverage path to auto-fwd the call to another extension, agent or station. Let me know if you need any more help.

put a send calls button on the set, when the person is to be away they push the send calls button, it sends all calls immediatly to the coverage path. Have the backup person as the first point in the coverage path.
