Call Forward to Phantom TN (Outside Line)

Client wants to be able to call forward incoming calls to an outside answering service when they leave at night. My solution below does not work. Looking for help.

Client has 10 phones with mcr 1000 (9 on key 1, 1 marp'd on key 0). Calls from the attendent (mermail) and DID calls via (idc) get directed to 1000. On the M3904 that has 1000 marp'd on key 0 I tried forwarding to a dn setup on a phantom tn with the phantom dcfw to the outside line. Dialing the phantom dn works but when we forward the marp'd phone to the phantom dn phones still ring the sets with 1000 on them and do not get forwarded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i would set cdb opt to cff.. then the marped set needs cfxa fdn 21. then just forward that set to the external number.

you can use a maxp 1 acd ncfw to the external dn with out cfo, but if you do the inbound trunk ncos has to be high enough to make the external call

What I would do, is to make the MCR 1000 a different number. Create a new phantom dn of 1000 & set the FTR DCFW number to be the New MCR number. Also set the SCPW as well i.e. 1000

Then I would set up CLS CFXA FNA on the phantom DN, along with FTR cfw 16 etc. All that needs to be done, is to use the RCFW (Remote Call Forward) facility from any Meridian phone to divert the phantom to a different number of your choice, adding in your AC1 code e.g. "9".

Once you want to take calls, use the RCFW de activate facility to use the default DCFW destination.

that would require changing all the mcr's to a vacant dn, but i've used seen switches that used rcfw for that, and it works clean... as usual there are a dozen ways to do anything in a nortel...

one plus for rcfw is that you have a pwd (scpw) to control the forward to access.. and the actual dn 1000 is only on one set...
