I have a 2500 that I can't forward off-net. I get the confirmation tones after I put in a local number, but when the extension is called, the phone still rings. However, forward to 4 digit extension works as advertised.
I have a 8434 that is defined the same COS and COR that works beautifully with same procedure, for both off-net local and extension.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chelsea

When u status the analog station does it show that it is call forwared to 9XXXXXXXXXX?

If you want to get the best response to a question, please read FAQ222-2244 first, thanks. If I ask a question in a reply to a post, and that question is not answered, then I usually will not continue trying to assist the person.

orypecos, thanks for the tip about reading the faq, and i had. i'm not really sure where you are coming from on this. i checked my history and found that i did reply to you last time, so i'm not sure why the trouble.

in a status station, the CF destination is 9localnumber.

Is the 2500 station a station that is remote from the main pbx? There must be something different about that 2500 station. Is that station actually a call appearance on another phone?
(The information having to do with the faq and the rest of it that was on the post is put on each post that I make, but I have taken it off cuz it is causing too much misunderstanding. Sorry.)

Might take a look at thread690-883152 , maybe a known problem with your pbx?

Both stations are extensions defined locally. There is something different, but I can't peg it. Also, on the digital set, when called from an extension, it doesn't go to forward. When called from outside line, it forwards. I have a G3siV6 that worked before, so I'll keep playing around and let you know what I come up with.
Thanks for the input,
Chelsea

Have u looked at "change system callforwarding" on your pbx?
