Call Forward not working 1

I have a ip office 500v2 and its running 8.1.67. The customer want to know how to do a Call Forward so i showed him and failed. I call dial extension and get dead air for about 10 to 15 seconds then get extension vmail. I looked in sys status and once I dial that extension it just says line seized, but nothing about trying to dial out. Does anyone have any ideas?

If using POTS lines you need to enable off premise call forwarding in the individual line settings tab. Allow analog trunk to trunk. Also system tab, make sure in telephony inhibit off premise is not engaged.

You should probably consider contacting a dealer or someone who does this for a living. This stuff is not for end users! [bigsmile]

Now Freight Train, I'm not sure where you come from but this is a helpful place, and it is okay to be a novice or receptionist tasked with system admin. I'm not quite sure how to take your response, but it seems as if you may have some pent up anger, did your phone guy drop you like a hot potato?
