I have been doing some reading here and it seems the only way to forward a DN on a set is if it is MARP'd on the set. I have done this however I cannot forward an extension to V/M without it ringing 3 times. I want to get 7229 to goto V/M however only 7224 and 8224 go when call forward is activated. Thanks in advance.

Does 7229 appear on any any other sets?

If yes it will not work. Call forwarding a MADN must be from the PDN (key 0)

7229 is a DID and there is no multiple appearance of this DN

Is it supposed to be 7229? Because you have 7299 programmed on the set???

You keep referencing 7229, yet on your printout you have 7299 programmed on the key. It's not just a typo, right?

Is 7299 a non-DID? If so, it won't follow the forwarding of the set.

if 7299 is on key 2 it will hard forward, have this same set up with answer stations, the lines added later and put on the left side (8+) after the feautre keys, forward no answer works cfw 4 didn't. moved it to key 2 3 4, it followed.. by the way, the station doen;t know if the dn is a did or not, the code sees a did trunks as if it is a analog set. the difference happens when your cfta..another misprint,."Call forwarding a MADN must be from the PDN .." if that was true key 1 on that set wouldn't forward. jmho

I have 10 scr keys MARP on my 3904 and when I forward my phone to any number they all go there.

so do i, but they dont have feature keys between them. out heli care survice must have at least that many on 2616's with a mix of scr's and mcr's. took forever to get a single station to control all forwards in case of a down bird. but the thing that i learned while banging my head on that was don't have feature keys int the mix.. as long as key 0 to key x is a line they forward. my test phone has dn's on key 0 1 2, and 8 9 10.. lhk 10 builds two separate short hunts, fna works for all lines. but hard forward only forwards key 0 1 2, the other keys still ring 3 times (rco) and then forward. i set it up that way to test the short hunt theory. don't get me wronge, because of the cdb and opts and rdr and the interlinks, these switches are capable of somewhere around 3096 to 243 different overall configs.. what i post is not written in stone, it is written in my 81
