Hey guys-

Having a problem getting the phones in one of my sites to CFW externally.

all 3904 phones

CLS = CFXA FNA
NCOS = 7
KEY 19 = CFW 16

"Forward to number" = 9 1 703 XXX XXXX

WHat other phoen config parameters or system parameters do I need to confirm?

Thanks

in the cdb set the opt to cff.. that gives cfxa control to the forwarding station.. it is now cfo.. originating station, so on an external call the trunk ncos would control the allow table

thanks John-

where exactly in LD 15? I see cfo set for a few CDB options (RDR and FTR National) - Both?

does this affect anything else?
thanks again

works like a charm

thanks again

ld 15 is the customer data base.. it sets all the customer wide params for your switch... if your not real friendly with ld 15, go to ld 21 and prt cdb 0 return.. copy it to a txt file and go through the book on that one.. you're time will be well spent... there 1000's of options that are turned on/off in that load.. but procede with care... any single prompt will affect a lot of things.... but it's a good load to know

no im cool with LD 15 and made the changes
working with almost exclusively IPT systems (Callmanager) nowadays so rusty with the cryptic Nortel/Legacy/TDM commands...but hey you never do forget (especially with a little help! thanks again)

RDR data and FCR data I believe both had opt = cfo

I changed them both to get a few emergency phones forwarding and will check my i/0 book later to see if thats what we want to keep

I do prefer allowing all on the system level-
and restricting on the phone level -
with most features including CFXA

that is a good policy, avoids work arounds
