Is it possible to redirect a call to go to "Forward All" mode based on the ANI digits?
I have an application where the customer doesn't want to have two separate numbers for voice and fax. Unfortunately, the user doesn't know it's a fax so by the time he picks up the call, he's hearing fax tone, then has to transfer the call to voice mail so that the fax will end up in his mailbox.
Or just wait until the fax machine calls back, and he just lets it go to VM.
I'm thinking maybe the call could be redirected right away to the Octel with just 1 ring burst, so the user is not disturbed and fax calls will go directly to his mailbox, based on where the call is coming from.
Of course, after all this hullaballoo, I'm ready to tell him to just get two numbers, one for voice and one for fax. But just thought put the question out there.
