Our helpdesk wants a new call flow so I am doing some testing.

Heres how they want the flow.

User calls Ext. 3200 and it Multi call rings to 3 people.
I setup 3 2616's with key 8 as the MCR for 3200

Now if all 3 of those lines are Busy then they want it to forward to a Menu Service that will say All Techs are busy either hold or press 1 to leave a voicemail.

I already took care of the Menu service using a phanton tn and Ext. 2002

But if no one answers the MCR thats on Key 8 then they want it to forward to another MCR Ext. 2200

I created 3 2616's with Key 9 MCR 2200.

Then if no one answers the MCR's on Ext. 2200 then go to Voicemail so a person can leave a message.

Heres the TN's for each set of phones. I just did 1 TN for each set.

Key 00 and Key 1 are just personal line Ext's

==================================================

Right now when I call Ext. 3200 and no one answers it does Forward to Ext. 2200. When no one answers Ext. 2200 then it goes to voicemail. I would like for it to go to voicemail box of 2002 instead though.

Since the Menu service I created when you press Option 1 it takes you to voicemail for 2002.

And if I make the phones with Ext. 3200 Busy and when you call it then it wants to go to the voicemail box of Ext. 3200 instead of going to my Phanton TN Ext. 2002 to get the Menu options.

What do I have wrong where to get this to roll how I want it?

Thanks

Ryan

it will always go to the voice mail of the dialed dn. add a voice service dn for 3200, pointed to the same app id. as the menu service.. you can still leave a msg for 3200 if the 2002 menu option 1 does an express mail..tricky but it works

I cant seem to get it to hunt to my phantom. If I change the FDN or HUNT and LHK and put in like my personal Ext. for those entries it will hunt to it. But if I use my phantom I configured as Ext. 2002 it wont hunt to it. It acts like theres no hunt setup and just goes to voicemail for Ext. 3200. Why would it hunt to my Ext. but not the Phantom? If I just dial 2002 it works how I expect. But calling 3200 with FDN as 2002 and HUNT as 2002 it wont work.

Heres my phantom tn. Am I missing something?

For the TN in the first post that has FDN 2200 I do have that set as 2002 now so that isnt the cause of it not hunting.

let it hunt, if you want it to go to a menu for a different number, add the voice service dn in mail. the call path will go to the orignal dialed dn.. but it checks the voice dn table before it checks for a mb

Not quite sure what you mean. I tried what I thought but it didnt work.

Your saying to take my Voice Service ID of 2002 and add it to the Extension DNs in Mermail for Ext. 3200?

no, just add a voice service dn on 3200, pointed to the same app id that 2002 is using.. that should slove the problem if i read the post right

ahhh I see what your saying now. I will try that when I get in tomorrow. I'll post back after I test it out. :)

Thanks
