Have two systems this is effecting on now.

CICS 7.1
Using Call Pilot 100

Basically, call comes in, CCR takes it to the correct destination, DN rings, BUT caller hangs up BEFORE VM takes over. Now here is the issue. The line does not release from the system, so the VM records the line being hung and the line starts calling out and we get "if you wish to make a call, please hang up and... blah blah blah".

How do I get the system to realize the caller hung up and to release the line?

Your lines may not be programmed for "Supervised" or they don't have disconnect supervision from the carrier.

Thanks,

SUPER is set, will have to check with carrier.

BTW.. one other minor thing...

When someone does call in, we hear all the phones ring once.. they do not want to hear that.. The AA is set to 0 rings, but it chirps all phones one time. Any thoughts?

Phones are programmed to ring. Simple thing to check.

Got any guidance on that other than its simple ?

I know how to approve what lines it can access.. Line001: APPR&RING, but correct me if I am wrong, you cannot set APPR without the ring... so again, a bit of guidance on what you are referring to would be appreciated.

norstarboy125 is corect except for the DRT setting of the lines. By default DRT is set to prime to the phone connected to port 101. So if all phones are programed for appear only the prime phone will still chirp unless you change DRT to none.
