Call Diversion for Hunting Group 7

You should be able to do this by making an extension a 'MASTER' extension, however it has never worked for me!
use the the command below to make it a master
SPEXI
IR=xxxx,OPT=M
As I said this has never worked for me though so maybe there is more to it.
The way we normally do this is by creating an extension, with a phone connected to it with the actually group number and then during 'office' hours diverting this to a hidden group number with all the agents in during the day. Then outside of office hours the agents can easily divert the extension to voicemail by keying in *2* from the extension handset. Of course this does mean using up an extension port!
Let me know if you need that clearing up.

The master extension is used to control a DO NOT DISTURB GROUP.
This is handy in Group Hunting scenarios as you can make all members of the hunt group a member of this DND group, then CDINI the Hunt Group pilot number to the out of hours answering position.
For example, if the DND group is number two, at night, simply invoke DND by doing *25*2#, in the morning turn it off by doing #25*2#

A master extension is an extension which is permitted to order group do not disturb, bypass of an extension with group do not disturb activated or follow me for an internal group hunting group by dialling predefined procedures.
So initiate the master extension by using SPEXIIR=xxx,OPT=M;
Then to activate the diversion at the master extension: * 24 * <grp.nr> * <dest> #
To de-activate the diversion at the master extension: # 24 * <grp.nr> #
The dest (call diversion destination) has to be internal.

Hi - this is a bit late but here is how my hunt groups are diverted. The hunt group number is given a normal divert cdini:dir=xxxx,div=yyyy;
dir=hunt group number
As people go of duty they divert there telephone to there own indivudual directory number in the hunt group *2*directory number#. When all members of the group have gone off duty the calls will divert to the programmed number for the hunt group.

In general hughsmith is right. If the group is a support group it is recommended that they are diverted to a another location if there are no members logged in any more. This could be the night announcement.
However it can be that you want to divert the groupnumber to another location at lunchbreak or whatever. You then can divert the group manually, making new calls go to the diversion destination and handle the existing calls and calls that are already in the que youre self before going to lunch. Because they will not be diverted if everyone logges off. Only new calls will.

MDUSER is right (as always 
We intend to divert a group without any members. The point is to direct an overflow towards an IVR whenever it´s needed. To allow our callcenter personnel to do so on their own without our help anytime they want to it is necessary to use a procedure on one of their telephones.

In BC12 you can make it possible for any member of the group to divert the group, without the need for a Master Extension.

Yes GandhiII,
is possible to set a group diversion.
You can do it from an Operator or a Telefony with maximum category (traf=XX151515)
the string is *21*GHnumber*DIVnumber#
for delete diversion #21*GHnumber#

You can initialize a new hunt group, make sure the values for the SEL parameter agree with the conditions under which you need the pilot number to divert , and assign an individual diversion point to the pilot number. If you set the SEl parameter for the pilot to divert when no members are available, and you don't put any members in the group, then calls to the pilot number will always go to the diversion point. The pilot number is essentially a phantom extension.
If you do have members in the hunt group, ANY member of the group can program a follow-me diversion for the pilot number
by *FC*pilot number*diversion point#.
