Call Centre Manager CCM 4.0

When installing ccm 40 on a client machine i get the error:
ocx registration
registering cclicense.dll failed. Loading the library failed.

Any ideas how to resolve this problem?

Which OS? Which SQL? Anything else running on that machine?

OS on client machine XP SP2. It also runs CC3 and DNA5.2 which works fine. SQL on server is version 8

Has IFOR client been installed and configurated propely ?
If you run regsvr32 "c:\Path\to\dll\cclicense.dll "
Do you get the same error ?

There is a compabillity_software_check to dwn-load from M$
Try that on the package.

Ifor client is properly configured. i did run regsvr32 and the path and it succeeded. Any other ideas?
