Is there a way to access my Call Accounting program from my workstation. Our phone closet is in another building and I would like to print out reports for my administration on demand. Also, the voicemail server and the unix server?

This will depend on the software that you are running on your pc, the switch and the call accounting package that you have purchased. I am running ASA (Avaya Site Administration) on my pc for access to the switch and voicemail system. This program works very well for remote access. The call accounting package that we purchased is by Microcall and I do have a remote access program for this.

I do not know whay call accounting package you have. Look at They have both a CPE product or an outsourced version both of which you can access reports via a browser. The outsourced product is nice in that you need not maintain servers or software. You can trial it without interfering with your existing application.

The best call accounting for accomplishing that tast is Call Accounting Mate from ( The product is completely web based, has its own built-in server (so no IIS or Apache install) and accessible from anywhere.

I am not sure I would ever make the comment that it is "The best call accounting for accomplishing that tast is"

Many different CAS systems exist, some are specialized to industry specific tasks and or specific end user reqs.

However 99% of the new systems out there have the ability to accomplish the "task" he/she has identified above.

I am sure callaccounting.ws is a great system but it certainly isn't the only one. It definately isn't the only one that is totally web based and accessible from anywhere with a network connection.
