We really like Chronicall by Xima Software. I have only used Tapit once and it was kind of a pain setting it up, but that was on 4.2 when Avaya only had the SMDR output to a file, so it might be different now that the SMDR can come directly out.
I also like Chronicall, but its not cheap so make sure you have plenty of agents to report on to get you above paying for CCR licences.
I would personally use Tim Professional. Its a slick looking product these days, and the install to working on customer site - including setting up a wall board takes less than an hour!
he said call accounting not call reporting. i consider call accounting historical reporting, not live reporting. I agree CCR might be less expensiive if you have fewer agents, but the install for Chronciall is a breeze.
The base Chronicall is what you want. It's integration with IP Office is slick, easy to install and gives you everything you want in a nice, friendly, easy to read format. I used to use a 'other' brand but will only use that now.
Am i missing something? He asks for experience with Tapit and the only replies posted are about other software.
Are we tek-tippers or do we run a software store?
Anybody uses Tapit? Then share your experiences here please.
indeed he has. answer. no experience with Tapit. just skim read tbh and noticed someone offering another product. call me hairlessupportsheep... baaa....
I have lots of expericence w/ Tapit and have zero issues w/ it. I have it installed on 3 seperate IPO's and numerous Magix's, all netwroked together and we even pull from the datatbases to a 3rd party software.
My understanding is there is a new Tapit product out that replaces Tapit EX. It uses a SQL database instead of Access. It's all web based too. Don't have any experience w/ the new product though.
We've been installing Tapit EX exclusively with the IP Office for a few years now. The only issue that comes to mind is that we cannot get the Authorisation Code reports to run. We've raised the issue with Trisys but they want to charge us US$500 to fix it which our management doesn't believe in paying.
The new Tapit (Nova) is SQL & web-based by default and easy to use but it seems to be missing one of the reports that we used frequently on the Tapit EX. It also does not correct the Auth Code issue.
