The BDE is the Borland Database Engine, in here is the config file that all computers should use when there log onto Goldmine, but sometimes you may find computers have there own file, so it best to change this to a server version.
You need to find the bdeadmin.exe file. Mine is in the main goldmine directory in the setup file, but you will need this.
When you locate this and run it you will notice in the title bar there should be a file path and at the end "idapi32.cfg"
This is showing you where that computer is reading its BDE config file from. If you check this on a couple of computers you will hopefully get a general pattern.
If they are all reading it from the same location then this file should be ok.
I would then advise it something to do with the user ini file, but i'm unsure what line this would be within this file.
