This will suport almost real-time server side synchronisation of Calendar and Contacts items between GoldMine Sales & Marketing and Exchange 5.5 / 2000.
I thought that this functionality was being incorporated with one of the next major releases of Goldmine so a third party product wouldn't be required?
Thanks, Thank you,

You are correct; FrontRange solutions were developing two links to Exchange / Outlook from GoldMine:
The Outlook Link: This is available now with MR2(version 5.7) of Sales and Marketing. This provides the ability to use Outlook as the email client, with any emails related to contact records in GoldMine being copied to the correct contact record, retaining GoldMine's history tracking for emails. This is an excellent feature, and has proven very successful to our clients that have had it implemented.
The Exchange Link is currently still in development and there is no scheduled release date. Robert Colborne
Just to be sure, I'm referring to GM being able to do what RobColborne said (quote below), when not on an Exchange based email system.

Also I assume you mean that I would not have problems
The Outlook add-in is installed on each client workstation. It works with Outlook, so it does not matter if you use Exchange, or connect to an Internet mail server.
As for issues, then generally speaking it is fine. Most of the question I have had raised concern its functionality.
So there is an app installed on the client that is an add-on to Outlook, that enables you to specify if the email should be linked to a Goldmine Contact?
Rob, how well do you know Goldmine Reports? We have migrated Databases and now our built in Goldmine Reports are not pulling data? Our Crystal reports are working fine? Thank you,

Nope, we were using SQL previously. We had our CAL in one db and all the rest of the tables in another db. So we moved them all into one SQL db. Thank you,
