I converted an Excel calendar control form to pdf so everyone could use it now it will not allow me to select a different date on the calendar

Acrobat 7 Designer has it's own calendar control - all drag and drop functionality. Try using Adobe's version instead of converting one from Excel.

If you still want/need the Excel calendar control - let us know how the conversion is being made.
