Calander

I have placed a Active X calander on one of my forms but every time the database is closed or the form opened in edit mode the calander loses its control source. Any ideas how to stop this?

The control source that is linked to a table. You click on a date on the calander and the table is updated with that date. Unfortunatly on close the control source of the calander is lost
