Hello everybody,

I am having problems viewing/updating/testing my site because of the cache, I have to wait ages to see what is being changed. Im sure its my computer because the other week i wasnt having this problem.

Is there any settings on my computer i need to change to stop this from happening?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
James

Thanks a lot for that Wullie. I knew it would be something really simple. Cheers...

You can also try deleting the cache after each internet termission is over. You can also do via: Internet Options -> Advanced -> Under the Security heading, make sure the checkbox for "Empty Temp. Internet Files folder when browser is closed"...
I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

GUJUm0deL,

Just the same as my first suggestion about the browser setting, this one doesn't always work either..

The biggest problem being that not all temp files are actually stored in the "Temp Internet Files" directory. Some files are also stored in other directories such as "Recent" which is a hidden dir in the windows directory.

Hope this helps Wullie
