Can anyone suggest a course of action to correct the following 2 problems.
Problem #1...When I launch a certain program a box with a red X appears with the following:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime error! abnormal program termination.--
I tried to correct this by reinstalling the program. Same result. Then I reinstalled windows 98.
Same result. Then I reinstalled windows 98 using the setup switch /nd - This switch ignores the
presence of a Migration.dll file and is used to force Windows 98 to overwrite newer files.
Same result. I need some help.
Problem #2...I have been using 2 power profiles on my win 98 machine. I now cannot save my
second power profile. When I want to change power profiles I have to select the values manually.
When I give the new profile a name, exit the module then go back in the default "Always on" is the
only selection. I reloaded win98 as above in problem #1 with the same result.
Any ideas woule be appreciated. <A HREF="mailto
