Hello all,

I have a client who has a very successful shareware application written in VB6. He is starting to get calls for the program on the Mac OS-X platform.

My question is this: Is there any way to write the application on a Windows box using C# and using Windows Forms and ADO.Net and then run it on the Mac using Mono?

I hope someone can offer some advice on this question because I am at a loss. There is a programming language called REALbasic that is across-platform compiler but I have used it and it is WAY to slow.

I would love to use MS and C# for the job because that is what I am the most fluent in.

Thanks in advance for any advice,
Noble

Mono will run on the Mac (I have it set up on the Mac Mini at home). There is a native OS X GUI toolkit available too:

But I haven't had time to play with it yet -- no idea what state it's in.
