Hi Guys,

I'm new to asp.net. I know a little asp. now I want to learn asp.net using c#. I've installed visual studio .net 2003. And I've bought the book ASP.NET PROGRAMMING WITH MICROSOFT VISUAL C# .NET Step by Step by Andrew Duthie. But this book doesn't teach c# too much. There are too many c# books out there, I don't know which one is good. Please recommend.

Thank you so much!!!

Programming in the Key of C# by Charles Petzold is a pretty good primer. Strictly console application stuff though.
I found Programming C# by Jesse Liberty to be well written and very understandable.
For the ASP.NET side of stuff one of the books I really liked was also by Jesse Liberty & Dan Hurwitz: Programming ASP.NET.
The examples are both in C# and VB so at the end of the day you can pretty much figure out how reach a solution in either language.
I could go on but then we're back in the same boat of too many C# books out there.

Thank you so much! Veep. It's very helpful.
