Hello, ive been learning c++ in my highschool class but they go way to slow. Do any of you have a good succesful c++ book to recomend.

I am working on the Mac platform: Mac OS Panther. I have xCode as my compiler for my c++ code. I have a previous knowledge of vb and i know the basics of c++. I would like a book that people found successful for someone who understands programming but does not know all the syntax for c++ and wants to learn better structure and better programming ways.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Thanks.

Best book for new programers:
How to Program, Using C++ by Deital and Deital
It's writen for standard C++, so any compiler SHOULD work -- so dispite teh fact that your on a Mac, it should be fine.
