Bypassing attachment blocks in Mic Outlook XP

Is there a way to bypass the security block in Microsoft Outlook XP that does not let you use the drop down "send a link" while you are in Internet Explorer?
It opens up to Outlook but there is a message that comes up
that says attachments are blocked and cannot be opened. I tried changing different security options but nothing seems to work. It does it with every link that I try sending ----Very frustrating

yes... do a search for outlook unblocker. There are several free utilities out there.

Thnks in advance to all users out there who continually answer all of our questions. Although I try to answer some questions, I usually am asking.
