I am curious about peoples opinions on this...

I am going to be buying a Full tower case. Should I get a name brand like In-Win, or would a generic case do the job?

I do not mind spending the extra $$$ to get a name brand...but I found some generic cases that look to be ok...just curious what others think...

thanks!!

i don't think brand case are the must have what i look at is look and feel when you put your pc togetheris there good room and and lot of cooling. Of course do like the look on the out side. So long and thanks for all the fish.

Look for a case that is well made and easy to get in to. Some generic cases are difficult to open and close for expansion or troubleshooting.

Also, get the largest rating power supply you can. I assume on a full-tower case you're intending to add several devices so make sure you have enough power.

I refuse to pay for a name-brand label.

I will be getting a 300 watt power supply...

I found a very nice generic case which has lots of space and seems to be very accessible...

Thanks for the input..

On a large case a nice feature to look out for is a slide out MOBO mounting plate. this makes assebling a lot easier. Also 300w on a tower might be a little low. check out some of the computer modification sites to find higher wattage PSU's espesially if you are going to build a system based on an AMD chip. Another thing to bare in mind is that high end graphics cards need lots of power.

Remember that if you run the PSU at its limit it will cause you some wierd and eratic faults on you machine.

hope this helps

I recently ran across a full tower case that seems to be perfect, it was by Antec and had removable sides and quick release Drive bays.
