Button Program: Feature 76 1

I'd like to program a button that will execute the following: Feature 76 (Call pick up directed) + the extension.

Can you give me the "Instructions for Rookies" version?

I got the F*3, F76 part down, I just can't figure out how to add a specific extension to pick up (I pick up someone else's internal calls when they are away from their desk).

I don't think that you can do it with one button.

If they have the other people's extensions programmed in their memory buttons, you can use that in conjunction with F76.

Program a memory button to be F76.

Once they press that button, they then press the other memory button for the extension.

You can put the feature on a button but you have to enter the extension number.

.. Or you put those 2 phones in their own Pick-Up group (Capabilities/Set Abilities), and program a button for Feature 75 instead .. (Group Pickup)

or just put an Ans Dn. button on you set. With or without ringing.

DigitalD had the right answer.

DigitalMinds' solution will work if you have enough PUGs to dedicate one of them for those two people only (but that's assuming that they're not already in a bigger PUG that they may need to answer with F75).

Ford53s' answer dn solution is also a viable and effective alternative if they can both stand hearing that extra ringing all the time on their phones.

Thanks all for the creative solutions. In the end, the only viable one (PUGs are already an "issue" inter-office politically) is to program a button to do th *76 and then type in the extension. Thanks!
