Button problem 2

I am using fireworks and macromedia both MX versions.

I made some text in fireworks, converted it to a button, and then exported the file as a gif, AND jpg. But neither of them will recognize that its a button in macromedia. What do i do?

When expoting file, be sure that you select the following:
File Name: whatever
Save Type as: HTML and Images
HTML: Export HTML File
Slices: Export Slices

Well my next question is now, what file do I insert in the Dreamweaver MX file to make the picture show up?????????

WHen I exported as html and images, it made an html doc with a bunch of gif images with r1_c1 or something at the end of it.

Okay, in Dreamweaver go to ...
Insert >
Interactive Images >
Fireworks HTML
