I have a problem with 2 small office's.
i have created a hunt group on each with 3 analogue lines pointing at each group. 4 members in each group when only 1 member is logged into the group and a second call rings it just continues to ring and i dont get busy tone back.
i have tried this on isdn and you do get busy tone back, is their any way of busying out an analogue line? using a shortcode.

Never been able to it myself. Then again, try to keep away from analogue lines. Sorry no help

Make sure call waiting is turned on for the hunt groups. If it is turned off, and only one user is logged in, the second call will get a busy. U can turn on queueing as well to avoid this problem. The queue will then queue up second and third calls while the agent or user is handling the first call. If neither of those help you, I would say check the main line and make sure it rolls to the secondary lines. If it doesnt then there is your problem.

it is not possible to return a busy signal to an analog line, if the line is physicaly free then it will ring.
If the IPo thinks the destination is busy when the call is presented the line will "ring" but the IPO will ignore it when the destination becomes free.

IOt is therfore Vital when using analog lines to ensure that the inbound call should never be "busy"

enable queing on your group to prevent this problem
