Ive just installed BusinessObjects enterprise server - with the web component adapters, etc in order to view the Central (used to be Crystal) Management Console (CMC). While the CMC web-site has worked, and has launched successfully, after i have re-started the machine the CMC has failed to launch. The start page of the site is 'admin.cwr', which doesn't actually exist but does apparently act as a web request. Is there anything on start-up which would / may cause this service (if at all a service) to fail? Thanks in advance..

Are you trying to launch it explicitly or automatically on reboot? What is the error message you get?

What version of XI have you installed? (e.g, R1, R2, R2 SP1, R2 9/2006 Hot Fix, R2 SP2)

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Have you looked at the event viewer.

This is usually a rights issue. The service is likely starting using the local system id. That ID usually has no rights to read the database. You should use the CCM and change the rights for that service and all others.
