Business Portal within Novell network

Currently, most of our user's workstations are still logging into a Novel network using Client32 becuase all of our Office licenses are still using Novell and to convert them all at once would be very expensive.

We have 6 citrix servers, a sql server all on a Win 2k domain. The users then log into citrix, where they enter their Win 2k domain user and password.

My issue with BP is that it automatically authenticates the users, but if the user has not yet authenticted on Win 2k domain, the app will not work. Is there anyway we can set BP to prompt for their credentials instead of auto authenticating?

I don't have an asnwer to you question but I think that MBS will drop support for systems running on Novell networks with version 8 of Great Plains. FYI.

We actually don't use Novell for anything except file sharing, ie Great Plains resides on our 6 citrix servers, which are all Win2k servers.

I believe that at this time there is no way to do this within Business Portal. I do not have extensive knowledge of windows authentication to know if someone can do something custom to work around it.

My thought is that they are going to have to use another way because I can't see having customers and vendors being authenticated by Windows. Is this where Terminal Services come in?

Can your users connect through Terminal Service in? I believe they said at Technical Conference that they do not support Citrix. I'm not sure if it would work anyway. But, I do know that a user can VPN in which will do a windows authentication at that time.
