Good morning,

I have a CUCM 8.6.2.

New site has a a MGCP gateway built with a local PRI (N12, B8ZS ESF

All seems to be working great except for on inbound calls, callers hear a brief amount of bursty static, then it clears and all is good for the rest of the call. This is happening only on incoming off net calls dialing locally. All 10 and 11 digit calls do not experience this. Had telco out with a circuit tester and the circuit looks great. Any others have this problem? This static lasts just for a second or two and then leaves.

Thanks,

Soop

Have you run any debugs or see any errors on the T1?

Yes we have ran some debugs and nothing standing out. Had telco back out again this morning. Issue seems to clear when removed from the router. Returns when reconnected. We have replaced the gateway modules with the same issue. This is the same circuit we had on our TDM switch before it was replaced last month.

I would look at the DSP thats getting hit on the incoming calls. I have seen a similar issue that was dead air but it was only when hitting certain DSP's.
