Hi,
Laptop at home burns CD-RW disks with latest version of Nero no bother, but same disks on my work laptop, with same Nero version fails with 'illegal disk' error.
Both machines handle CD-R disks ok and have XPP and DVD/CDR-R drives (albeit different models & can't be swapped)
This only seems to happen with CD-RW rewritable disks and I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before. Have tried Nero Tech help to no avail.
Any help appreciated - thanks

It could be the brand of CD-RW discs. Since CD-R's work fine, that seems like the issue. Try another brand.

Also, you can try upgrading the firmware for your CDRW drive. Visit your laptop manufacturer's site for updates.

I agree with cdogg, I have 3 burners and three brands of media!

Yes, tried another brand and now seems OK - I thought that by now all DVDROM/CDROM drives would be backward compatable to all types of disks - seems not!!...
...now going to try and get Nero InCD to work!!

Thanks for your input lads ..........bye !!
