I am using Crystal Reports 10 Developer Edition.
I know the previous versions were limited to the single dot bullet, but does anyone know if they have fixed it yet in version 10 so I can add the fancy arrows you can pick in Word?

You can add in "fancy arrows" such as Word has by selecting a font which has them.

For instance a chr(224) using a Wingdings font will net a fancy arrow.

Hi synapsevampire,
Thanks for the post.
I am still unsure of how to do this.
Do I create a formula with chr(224) in it and drag the formula into my text obect and then change the text object to wingding?
Thanks

You can change fonts for a portion of a text object, so that would work.

Windows has a program called charmap which allows you to find the arrows or characters you want, hit Start->Run and type charmap.

You can also copy and paste characters that way, so you don't need to use the CHR() method.

Hi Synapsevampire,
Thanks for the post, I think something is going wonky in our printers. Sometimes it prints the fancy arrow and sometimes it doesn't. I am not sure, but I will try all the different ways you suggested.
I gave you a star.
Take care,

It sounds like you have the wrong printer driver, o you need to search for an updated one.

These extended ascii chars can be a bit tricky with old DOS or Unix based systems, but Windows printing is a different thing.
