Bulk Load from Excel to a Web Page

My employer is in the process of changing travel agents. The new agent has a web screen through which information about each employee is added. This information is already in an Excel spreadsheet and one of the secretaries has been given the job of keying the data in (this will take some considerable time due to the number and complexity of records).

This sounds like an easy win.

Anyone got any ideas of how to automate the Excel/Browser data load? I was initially considering a simply key stroke emmulation script but there may be a more reliable way to do this.
