Hi All,

we have our CM corrupted right now. Its been more than 15 days that its corrupted.(6th November)
so we planned to restore the good backup (5th November ) to CM and whatever the changes that are done after the 6th we need to redo it.

can anyone tell me the best way to do it I mean how to redo the changes after 6th .

do we need to export all the station and agent id and import again ???

whats the best way

That would probably be where most of your changes are. Use 'list history' to look at what commands have been used in the system, hopefully you'll see more than just a day or two of commands. The web interface of CM may show you more historical data regarding change commands, might be worth spending 15 minutes to check it out.

Can we see " save translation all " command execute status in the list history??
The last time save translation happened on 6th November.

We would like to see what's happening every day translation

List history will show every command executed including 'save trans'. You might be better served by logging into the web interface, going to System Logs and selecting Communication Manager SAT events. You'll see what commands were run for the specific day entered. You won't be able to see what exactly changed but it's better than nothing.

Will there be a problem if we do " save translation all"via SMGR.

Because we have a team who do MACD ( add remove station and agent id ) work via SMGR . They login to cm from smgr and I see they have done " save translation all " on the same day .

You can try to save trans but it could get rejected based on the settings in CM. If you're worried that you'll lose all changes from a sudden reboot then give it a try but you're going to be doing a restore anyway so it probably doesn't matter if it fails or succeeds.

After they did save translation all from smgr from next day auto save translation is not happening.

So my question is it recommended to do save translation all from SMGR?

It most likely stopped because of the corruption. There's a setting in system maintenance that can stop translations from being saved if corruption is found. Manually trying to save translations likely won't work.
