Building exe = 'Cannot update the cursor' Error? 1

Hi
Whilst developing I have repeatedly compiled the prog into an .exe, no problem. I suddenly get the error 'Cannot update the cursor' and no exe. Help indicates the error to be Error 111 resulting from an attempted write to a read-only file. All the files in the program's development directory have been cleared of read-only status, no luck. Even done a repair of VFP and have SP1 installed. Using VFP7 and Win2000pro. In development environment it runs without a problem. Can somebody shed some light here?

Hi Alex,

Barbara Peisch has done some research on this. I suggest you go to

http://www.peisch.com/downloads.html

and download ErrorMessages.Zip. This lists all the possible causes of the error, and includes a program called WhichOne.Prg which will tell you which file is causing the problem.
