I was told that Flash relies on standard browser and HTTP security features in order to support secure passwords.

I have created a Flash login entry which request a password from the user and then submit it to the server with a LoadVariables POST operation using an https: URL. The password variable is not defined after first time submition to web server. It seems that flash did not send anything on first try especially right after I run IE5. I have tested this by ouputting the variable to the screen. On second time submittion everyting works well with password displayed on the screen.

Any help is much appreciated

Is the movie loaded fully when you press the submit button the first time? You might want to check this with a preloader.

Yes, the movie is fully loaded when I pressed the submit button and I have tried for many times. I have tried using other flash login samples and change the submittion point to https. It also gives the same result. FYI, I'm using CF4.5 as application server.

This can easily solve by installing CA Root Certificate to the client site (allow link for client to download). Flash forms are very sensitive whithout this CA.
