Microstar is MSI . I think you might have got the model number wrong as I cant find the board but here is there main site.

Double check the model number of the board. If the computer is not under warranty like a prebuilt machine open up the case and look on the actual board itself. Also would reccomend a bios update if one is available.

I will check the on the board once I get home, I will all get a Bios update (Not tried to do that before is it safe and easy to do?)

Well it usually takes about 10-15 seconds , however if for some reason the power goes out while your doing it you will have problems. Anyways yeah there fairly simple just read the instructions with the bios information that you download as it will tell you how to go about flashing it.

A Stop 0xA message might occur after installing a faulty device driver, system service, or firmware. If a Stop message lists a driver by name, disable, remove, or roll back the driver to correct the problem. If disabling or removing drivers resolves the issues, contact the manufacturer about a possible update. Using updated software is especially important for multimedia applications, antivirus scanners, and CD mastering tools."

This is a long thread covering many stories about your error, it might be worth a read.

Found the problem, I was being told by the BSOD error it was a USB device that was cauing the problem so I used only one device at a time and when I plugged my External DVD-RW within 5 minutes I got the error.

I remember about a month ago I needed to install a firmware update on the DVD-RW so that must be the problem.

Thanks for your help all

N/P and thanks for posting what the problem was. Always good when people do that so others can benefit from it.
