Hello all..

The laptops we use run a program called Screenagent.exe, this is a monitoring software that has to run on our machines as per company policy. The problem is, this program is causing a BSOD every time the computer comes back up from hibernation or sleep mode.

If I kill this process before going into sleep mode, i am able to recover with no problems... I would like to add a command to sleep mode that kills the Screenagent.exe before actually going into sleep mode, and restoring the process about 5 seconds after it comes back up. I do know someVB Scripting if anyone has any ideas...

Thanks in advance!!!

Wouldn't it be easier just to disable 'Sleep Mode' or would this be violating company policy? But then, you're already doing this by turning off Screenagent.exe.

Remember, if you can't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them!

Well, we can dissable sleep mode, as well as hibernation, but these are all on laptops, so this is more if a 'im hoping for' not so much a requirement.

If anyone else can help, this is still an issue..

Thanks!!

Is your software the same as mentioned in this thread?

Whether it is or not, does the manufacturer have any updates that might fix the BSOD problem?
