Browser - what runs when I click an MP3 file

I like MusicMatch for several reasons, but it's slow to load. My PC used to use MusicMatch when I clicked a file on my hard drive....but WinAmp when I clicked on music links on the Internet. For some reason it changed recently.

Does anyone know how to change the program that runs for MP3 files.....but *just* for my browser??

You want to associate mp3 files to winamp?

Select one, right click > Open with > Choose program. Pick the one you like and activate the check "Always use ..."

Winamp is even easier than that.

There's an option in the Winamp settings to re-associate files associated with Winamp.

That will cause WinAmp to start even when I click on files on my hard drive...(I think)

I only want WinAmp to start if I click an .mp3 in my browser.
