Hi,
we are currently having problems with users print spooler services stopping
themselves. It appears that this may be due to old drivers being stored on
the machines conflicting with newer drivers that have gone out when printers
have been replaced.
Whilst looking for tools to use I came acrosss the following page
-This mentions the browseprintworkstations registry key allowing you to
"calculate the number of clients whose browse list the printer appears" but
dosen't go into any more detail.
I have put the key into the registry and set the value to 2 (listed as the
default value for a non default key which is questionable in itself) but
can't find out where I am supposed to see the results of this change.
Basically does anyone know about using the feature?
thanks,
Chris
